Staff RN - Med/Surg Telemetry New

United Health Services, the largest and most comprehensive provider of healthcare services in upstate New York's Southern Tier, is hiring a Staff Registered Nurse, Telemetry Unit to join our team at UHS Wilson Medical Center in Johnson City, NY. The Telemetry unit is a very fast-paced and collaborative environment. Each nurse cares for 5 to 6 patients each. Within the Telemetry unit you will see a lot of different diagnosis to care for such as, but not limited to, respiratory, non-invasive cardiac, withdrawal, wound care. The Telemetry unit is focused on continued growth and learning, the team is continually stepping out to improve their skillsets!

Education/Experience

Minimum Required:

• A graduate of an accredited school of Nursing

Preferred:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing
• Previous clinical nursing experience in an acute care or ambulatory setting

License/Certification

Minimum Required:

• Current NYS RN License

Preferred:

• Professional certification in a related nursing specialty
• Relevant skills certification (i.e., ACLS, PALS, TNCC) as required by home unit assigned.
